Objectives

• To provide both skilled and unskilled participants to help in the orphanage
• To create an opportunity for participants to have a more meaningful experience during their travel through interaction with the locals.
• To contribute to the local tourism industry.
• To develop an appreciation for nature and the great outdoors.

Partners
X-Trekkers’ series of projects will be collaborating with local non-government organizations (NGO) to help the targeted communities through a series of 14-day trips, commencing Jun 2005. One of these organizations is Mongolia workCamp Exchange (MCE). Based in Mongolia, MCE is an NGO established on January 11th, 2001 and it hopes to raise public awareness of Mongolia's social problems and encourage actions in changing lives.

Mode of Operation
Each trip will consist of a community phase and an adventure phase. Groups of upto 20 persons will spend approximately 5 or 12 days at the project site before embarking on a guided adventure travel. The group will be made up of people of different nationalities, coming from different countries.

Selection Criteria
We believe you are the best judge of your suitability for the project. Once you are on the projects, we will assign an appropriate task as close to your capabilities as possible.
