Day 1 Arrive Paro. O/N hotel. Alt 2300m
Visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) and the Rimpong Dzong – specially to see the painting of the great saint
Day 2 Paro. O/N hotel
Hike to Taktsang, one of the most sacred sites in the Himalayan world. Drive to the ruins of the Drukgyel Dzong & visit Kyichu Lhakhang
Day 3 Thimpu. O/N hotel
Visit city sites like heritage museum, art & craft school, post office, traditional hospitals, traditional paper factory
Day 4 Thimpu. O/N hotel
Visit the memorial chorten which depicts the Buddhist faith in form of paintings and statues.
Day 5 Punakha. O/N hotel.
Drive at countryside visiting 3 storey Machhen Lhakhang
Day 6 Trongsa – Bumthang. O/N hotel.
On the way stop at weavers workshop in Chume also visit the Chendibji Chorten by great forest trees
Day 7 Bumthang. O/N hotel.
Visit Jaker Dzong, Kurjey Lhakhang, Jambay Lhakhang, Konchogsum, Tamshing & successful farm projects
Visit the sacred and slightly eerie pool of Mebarsto
Day 8 Bumthang. O/N hotel.
Explore peaceful valleys with option to hike the hillside
Day 9 Gangtey/ Phobjika. O/N hotel.
Visit the Nyingmapa (old sector) monastery on the western side of the Black Mountain.
Day 10 Gangtey/ Phobjika – Paro. O/N hotel.
Phobjika Sanctury, home to the very rare and the endangered black necked cranes
Day 11 Depart Paro.
