13 Days BHUTAN Community Based Program (114,34 KB)
Our community-based tourism is in central Bhutan called the Nabji-Korphu Trail named after two of the villages along the trail. Only a maximum of 11 pax will be allowed per program. This is a special program framed which will include cultural tours together with the Nabji-Korphu community based trails. This newly opened community-based tourism trail will offer the real Bhutanese way of life, practicing the same age old ways of dwelling in the rural community for a living. This will positively be a first hand experience of a typical Bhutanese life in the rural areas for travellers

Day 1 Arrive Paro from Bangkok. O/N hotel (2300m)
Meet representative and transfer to hotel in Paro.
Afternoon, visit national museum (Ta-Dzong)
Day 2 Paro - Thimphu. O/N hotel
Morning hike to Taktsang Monestry then drive to Thimphu.
Day 3 Thimphu. O/N hotel
Visit: Memorial Chorten, Drubthob Monastery, National Library, Folk Heritage Museum, Textile Museum, School for arts & crafts, Hospital for traditional Medicine, general post office, hand-made paper factory, Tashichoedzong and Handicraft Emporium.
Day 4 Thiimphu – Trongsa. O/N hotel
Day 5 Trongsa – Riotala – Nimshong (Trek; 6.5km, 3-4hrs)
Brief tour of Trongsa Dzong then descend from 2200m to 1319m Nimshong Village.
Day 6 Nimshong – Nabji (Trek; abt 13km, 4-6 hrs, 1300m)
Day 7 Day hike to Korphu Village (Trek; abt 13km, 4-5 hrs)
Day 8 Nabji/ Korphu – Kubdra (Trek; abt 14km, 5-7hrs)
Day 9 Kubdra – Jangbi (Trek; abt 14km, 6hrs, 1368m)
Day 10 Jangbi – Trongsa (Trek; abt 8km, 3-4hrs)
Day 11 Trongsa – Gangtey – Punakha. O/N hotel
Day 12 Punakha – Paro O/N hotel
Visit Punakha Dzong. Afternoon, drive back to Paro.
Day 13 Depart Paro to Bangkok
After early breakfast in the hotel, drive to airport for flight to onward destination.

- Where do I collect my Drukair Tickets?
You can collect your air tickets from the Druk air counter when you depart for Bhutan. For all travellers, entering Bhutan by Druk Air, the visa clearance is forwarded to all concerned overseas Druk Air stations prior to your arrival.
- For tours that take place outside of Festival Seasons you should book 5-6 weeks in advance.

Reservation
A deposit of $ 2000 is required upon confirmation and the balance must be paid in full 30 days prior to the departure date. Non-payment by required date may result in the cancellation of your booking and subjected to cancellation charges.
Special Note (For trekkers):
It is recommended that all trekkers should have themselves medically checked before attempting any high altitude trek. If you have a history of suffering from the following ailments, it is highly recommended that you should refrain from trekking to a high altitude.
Hypertension, Arthritis, Heart Disease, Severe Anemia, Peptic Ulcers, Epileptic Fits, Obesity (overweight). Chronic Asthma, Muscular Cramps, Hepatitis (Jaundice); or any other disease, which may hamper the trekker.
