15D Siguniang Daocheng - Yading Adventure

This journey will take us from the beautiful Siguniang range to the easter Tibetan Plateau, and to the Yading Nature Reserve. The mountain route is a challenging one, crossing several passes with the altitude exceeding 3,300m (10,000 ft). However, the overland journey will allow us to go deep into the pockets of Tibetan life and culture; meeting the locals and visiting monasteries in remote areas. Stops along the route will include talks with Lamas and teachings on the intricacies of Tibetan Buddhism, horse riding or trekking in Yading Nature Reserve and Siguniang valleys.

Day 1 Chengdu. F&E. O/N 3* hotel 

Day 2 Rilong (3800m, 6 hrs drive). O/N 3* hotel 

Day 3 Haizi / Changping Gully – Mt Siguniang. O/N 3* hotel  

            Trekking in Siguniang valley. 

Day 4 Danba. (4 hrs drive) O/N Tibetan Guesthouse 

Day 5 Xinduqiao (7 hrs drive). O/N 2* hotel 

           Scenic countryside view. Visit Tagong. 

Day 6 Litang (3800m, 6 hrs drive) O/N 2* hotel 

Day 7 Daocheng (4hrs drive). O/N 3* hotel 

Day 8 Yading (2hrs drive). O/N hotel in Yading 

Day 9 LuoRong Yak Farm. O/N LuoRong Yak Farm GH 

           Rise & shine to view the magnificent sunrise on a highland. Take a short 45-min hike to ChongGu Monastery. Continue trek to Pearl Lake. You will be able to have a very close view of the 3 sacred Mountains. Continue with another 3-4hr trek to LuoRong Yak Farm. 

Day 10 LuoRong Yak Farm. O/N LuoRong Yak Farm GH

              Sunrise over Jambeyang. Take a scenic 4-5 hr trek to Five-colour Lake & Milk Lake at your own pace. 

Day 11 Yading. O/N hotel in Yading 

            Trek Or horse-ride back to Yading 

Day 12 Litang (6 hrs drive). O/N 2* hotel 

Day 13 Kangding (6 hrs drive). O/N 3* hotel 

Day 14 Chengdu (6 hrs drive). O/N 3* hotel 

Day 15 Depart Chengdu
