10 Days CHINA 3 Parallel Rivers

In the high mountains of southwest China's Yunnan Province, three rivers – the Jinsha, Nujiang and Lancang – all originated from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, run roughly parallel, north to south for some 170 km.
Every kind of landscape to be found in the northern Hemisphere other than desert and ocean can be found here including magnificent snow- capped mountains and glaciers, precipitous Danxia cliffs and wonderful Karst formations. The region has 118 snow-capped mountains over 5,000 meters above sea level, varying widely in form. With them come many hectares of untouched forest and several hundred glacial lakes.

Day 1 Arrive Dali, rest & relax. (O/N 2-star, twin share)
Day 2 Dali – Gongshan (O/N 2-star, twin share)
Drive to Lancangjiang Riverside, Nujiang Riverside cross Luishui county, Fugong county to Gongshan.
Day 3 Gongshan – BingZhongLuo (1 hr, O/N twin share)
Drive to BingZhongLuo & hike aournd the village.
Day 4 BingZhongLuo – DiMaLuo – TongDang (O/N tent)
Proceed to DiMaLuo village, explore the village,ascend The valley of DiMaLuo river and set camp
Day 5 Tough trek begins (2650m, O/N stay in the tent)
Ascend the steeper trail through forests of Rhondodendron and fields of wild Iris.
Day 6 Peacock pass – Meadow (2650m, O/N tent)
Trek crossing the Peacock Mt Pass, the hardest day of the trip. Enjoy spectacular cape views & ridgeline.
Day 7 Meadow – Cizhong Church (5hrs, O/N at Tibetan Inn)
Visit Mekong gorge, Lisu nationality village, Cigu church on the way to Cizhong church.
Day 8 Deqin – Feilaisi (O/N stay in tin sharing hotel)
Drive to Deqin – Feilaisi to get a view of magnificent Meili Snow Mt & MingYongQia glacier.
(OPTION: Extended 3D Meili trek, where Day 8: YuBeng Day 9: YuBeng Day 10: Feilaisi)
Day 9 Feilaisi – Shangrila (O/N 2 – star, twin sharing)
Drive to Shangrila viewing Meli snow Mt Kawagebo
Day 10 Depart Shangrila
