9-Days CHINA Community Based Tour

Join us in this fabulous trip in the hidden corner of Napa Lake. You’ll be attracted by its trees and flowers, lakes and mountains, Tibetans and their culture; and wild chicks flying over cooking pots. This could be your last pure land on Earth!

Through organised village tour, the local villagers who are mainly farmers, will learn and change their lifestyle of cutting trees as firewoods, increase their income and reduce their daily burdens. Thus slowly it will create an impact to reduce the dependent on nature resources for livelihood.

Day 1 8am train to Dali. O/N 2-star Hotel (D)
Arrive Dali afternoon. Rest of day free & easy.
Day 2 Dali sightseeing - Lijiang. O/N 2-star Hotel (BLD)
Visit Zhou Old Town, Lake Erhai Washe Island trek to Bai Fishing Village, Xizhou Old town before drive to Lijiang.
Day 3 Tiger Leaping Gorge. O/N Guesthouse (BLD)
Drive to Tiger Leaping Gorge with short trek to view
The waterfalls.
Day 4 Napa Village (3260m). O/N Tibetan home (BLD)
Drive to Napa Village. Rest to accilmatise.. Night Cultural dance
Day 5 Napa Village (3260m). O/N Tibetan home (BLD)
Visit school, farm and lake/grassland.
Day 6 Cattle Settlement (3500m) O/N camp (BLD)
Early morning trek to camp at cattle settlement.
Day 7 Shangri-La. O/N 2-star Hotel (BLD)
Trek to Napa Village. Unpack and transfer to hotel in Shangrila.
Day 8 Shangrila. Free & easy. O/N 2-star Hotel
Day 9 Depart Shangri-La.
