4-Days MALAYSIA Sg Sedim Raft

Located within the Gunung Insa Forest Reserve, Sungai Sedim (Sedim River) is one of the best places to go for white water rafting. The 17km-long river has fast flowing waters and rapids excellent for white water sports activities. The river is also one of the best heart-stopping water rapids in the world and was chosen as the spot for the Kedah Open Wild Water Challenge event.

At Sungai Sedim, the skills of white-water rafters are taken to the limit as the ravaging waters take whoever dares to test its patience. The river offers a 17km stretch comprises 13 extreme rapids ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 4.

During the raft, you will be given some time on water confidence and learning the capsized drills. Rescue team (in kayak/ tubing) will be together with the rafting team to ensure the safety of the paddlers.

Day 1 SIN – Butterworth

Day 2 Butterworth – Campsite (BLD)
06.00 am Arrive Butterworth, meet guide and proceed for breakfast in a local stall.
08.00 am Continue drive to campsite.
09.00 am Arrive & set camp
10.00 am Trek to waterfalls. (Optional)
Or take a leisure walk at the canopy walk (own cost)
12 noon Back in Campsite for lunch & rest
02.00 pm RAFTING
05.00 pm Dinner in local stall/ at campsite
07.00 pm Back at campsite for wash-up and rest.
Day 3 Sg Sedim Raft - Butterworth – SIN (B)
07.00 am Rise & shine for breakfast
08.00 am Proceed for RAFTING AT UPPER LEVEL (Own snacks)
02.00 pm Back at campsite for washup and depart to Butterworth
06.00 pm Own dinner at local coffeeshop
08.00 pm VIP coach to SIN
Day 4 Arrive Singapore about 7am

Special Note (For trekkers):
It is recommended that all trekkers should have themselves medically checked before attempting any high altitude trek. If you have a history of suffering from the following ailments, it is highly recommended that you should refrain from trekking to a high altitude.

Hypertension, Arthritis, Heart Disease, Severe Anemia, Peptic Ulcers, Epileptic Fits, Obesity (overweight). Chronic Asthma, Muscular Cramps, Hepatitis (Jaundice); or any other disease, which may hamper the trekker.
