3D/2N Kuala Kerian Mangrove Learning & Fire Fly Night Boat Safari (SGD 480/pax)
Day 1 (assuming we pick them up from Ipoh bus or train station in morning) - transfer to hotel check in and fresh-up
- light snack
- transfer to Kledang foothill, height 810m.
- uphill trekking, 3-4hrs, thru rainforest trail route "49", passes natural waterfalls and jungle springs, see world's smallest pitcher plant, old dietrocarp trees, rattans, keruing sap tree, liana ... view breathtaking Kinta valley and Titiwangsa mountain range from hillside. Quite tough for people who don't exercise regularly but we will make as many stops and rest to ensure everyone enjoys the journey as well.
- transfer back to hotel
- dinner
Day 2 (trip starts from 2pm till 10pm)
- bfast at hotel, free and easy.
- pick up from hotel, 1pm lunch.
- 2pm, transfer to Simpang. See a 150 years old Taoist temple with roofs made entirely of broken china ware (pots, cups, saucers, plates, spoons … etc.). A long time ago, villagers were too poor to buy tile for the temple, and so everyone donated culinary ware from their kitchen to beautify the roof!
- trek mangrove forest at Kuala Kertang and learn about mangrove ecology.
- see beehive kilns and learn how wood is turned into charcoal.
- eat the most traditional fish asam “laksa” by a fishing village .
- transfer to Krian swamp land
- boat safari ride to river mouth to enjoy the glorious sunset
- after dark, boat detours to Sonneratia forested swamp to see hundreds of fire-fly colonies glitters and make trees glow like Christmas tree!
- dinner
- transfer back to Ipoh hotel.
Day 3
- bfast
- tour around Ipoh old town, Gunung Lang and interesting sites.
- lunch
- shopping ?
- departure to Spore
Malim Nawar wetland 4WD Safari and Tin Mine History (SGD 460 / pax)
Day 1 (assuming we pick them up from Ipoh bus or train station in morning) - transfer to hotel check in and fresh-up

Day 2 (trip starts from 9am till 6pm)
- bfast.
- transfer to Batu Gajah. See a English colonial leftovers, Tudor styled hospital, God’s Little Acre and Malaysia’s oldest golf course.
- See the last intact tin dredge ship floating in Tanjung Tualang and learn about Ipoh’s mining heydays.
- Lunch, local specialty steamed “grass prawn”.
- 4WD transfer to Malim Nawar to reach Kinta Bird Sanctuary. View a diverse species of storks, heron, birds, semi-aquatic and aquatic flora and fauna. Not to be missed – bird island.
- do some fishing if participants bring along fishing rods.
- transfer back to Ipoh hotel.
- dinner
Day 3
- bfast
- tour around Ipoh old town, Gunung Lang and interesting sites.
- lunch
- shopping ?
- departure to Spore
Bukit Kinta Rainforest 4WD/Trekking & Orang Asli villages (SGD 480 / pax)
Day 1 (assuming we pick them up from Ipoh bus or train station in morning) - transfer to hotel check in and fresh-up
- light snack
- transfer to Kledang foothill, height 810m.

- 4WD transfer to Bukit Kinta Forest Reserve.
- trek deep into Rafflesia and Rajah Brooke hidden rainforest pocket, and if you’re lucky, see the world’s largest flower bloom and river banks blanketed by Rajah Brooke butterfly colonies. Orang Asli guides will be used. Leeches may be present in deep jungle.
- Late lunch
- 4WD transfer to Padang Beliku’s waterfalls, see Orang Asli village and enjoy a cool dip.
- transfer back to Ipoh hotel.
- dinner
Day 3
- bfast
- tour around Ipoh old town, Gunung Lang and interesting sites.
- lunch
- shopping ?
- departure to Spore
