Ubin Explorers

A ride around Ubin with some off-road riding expected. It could be done in a scavenger hunt-style where students are given clues around the island.

To equip the participants with the skills and knowledge to ride a bicycle safely and independently as well as to generate their interest in cycling so they will continue to cycle regularly and explore the different options of cycling.

It is also a good opportunity to introduce trail cycling to participants under safe conditions.

A workshop will be conducted prior to actual ride to prepare the students; it includes bike/helmet fitting, as well as the correct usage of gears and brakes.

During the ride itself, bike leaders will be around to assist the students.
