Mt Rinjani is the third highest mountain in Indonesia standing at around 4,000 meters and takes a full day to reach the rim of the Crater Lake just below the summit.

2. Changi Village to Tampines Walk
---------------------------------------------------
This month walk brings us to the East.
This 12km route starts from Changi Village, where we take a walk down Changi Coastal Boardwalk. From there we'll make our way to Changi Museum, passing by the old Changi Hospital and Johor Battery along the way.
We'll take a half an hour break at Changi Museum to look at the war exhibits there. (Free admission).
After the break, we'll head towards Tampines Central where we end the walk at Tampines MRT.

Meeting Place: Changi Village Food Centre
End point: Tampines MRT
Expected end time: 1pm 


As we need to pre-book the visit with Changi Museum, please sign up for the walk before 14 Mar. We will not accept any registration after that.

1. Mt Ophir, Gunung Ledang - 3 vacancies left

Gunung Ledang (also known as Mount Ophir), 1276 metres (4187 ft), is probably Peninsular Malaysia's best known mountain. The mountain is situated in Johor, close to the Melaka border and it is a very accessible mountain. Ledang can be climbed in a weekend, camping one or two nights on the mountain.

Itinerary (subject to changes) 


Day 1 SIN - Ophir (D)
0600 Meet   depart with stop for own brunch
1100 Arrive Park HQ, meet guide and registration
1130 Transfer tents, group items, etc to vehicle for transportation to campsite.
1145 Trek to campsite @ plateau
1600 Arrive campsite @ plateau Empangan Tangkak.
1700 Set camp, dinner preparation   dinner

Small but beautiful, Sikkim is situated in the Eastern Himalayas. Spread below the Mount Khangchendzonga (8534m), the third highest mountain in the world, and revered by the Sikkimese as their protective deity. 4. Work camp in Vietnam

VPV11-10 Phu Tho SOS Village 17/05-29/05 KIDS/SOCI/EDU 18+ 15 Phu Tho SOS Children's Village was built in Viet Tri City in 1999 following the model of the famous SOS International. There are now about 168 orphans living in 15 families with the care from the village mothers and staff. The orphans come from 5 different provinces in the north of Vietnam at the ages between 1-18 years old. They are provided with housing, full care and education. Being orphan or abandoned, children are quite shy and they need more confident to be involved with regular life in the community as normal children. 


W: Volunteers will spend time with the children and help improving their English, organizing games and other activities for them. Volunteers will also help redecorating the houses and classrooms, planting vegetable, cleaning the area. Volunteers will also join the families to get closer to the children's life and try to build up wider horizon for the children and encourage them to learn better for brighter future.
S: Disadvantaged children in Vietnam
