Domestic flight
We have included domestic flight from Skardu- Islamabad for K-2 Treks; in case of flight cancellation we will provide transport, hotels and meals. Gilgit Baltistan flights are subject to weather & backlog conditions and thus operates on an ad hoc basis. If the reserved flight not operates on the day scheduled as per the itinerary, alternative surface transportation will be arranged in same given cost.
Helicopter charges/ Rescue facility
Rescue by helicopter is now handled by a senior-government organization which requires and advance deposit of U$ 10,000 by the trekking party or expedition before leaving for the mountains or, in its place, a letter of guarantee from the concerned Embassy on behalf of the expedition. The deposit is refundable after deduction of U$ 300 as service charges to party at the end of the expedition if need for rescue/evacuation has not arisen. Note-
(i) Clients can deposit 10,000U$ with with our local Guide to avoid deduction of services charges 300U$ if need for rescue/evacuation has not arisen.
(ii) Helicopter rescue of staff members is not included as no insurance company offers this service in Pakistan.
Crews
Guides
We have well experienced, professional English speaking guides who lead groups from Islamabad to Karakorum, Hindukush, Himalayas and Pamir Mountain valleys. Depending on group size, we will allocate number of staff accordingly, i.e. Main guide and Assistants guides as well.
Kitchen crew
We have well trained and experienced professional cooks and assistants. We assure you to allocate professional kitchen staff who can provide local and continental dishes in camps.
Helicopter rescue for local staff members are not included as no any insurance company offers this service in Pakistan.
Information about trek
Accommodation
We have quoted based on 2-3 options in Islamabad, Chilas, Hunza and Skardu which are neat and clean hotels.
Passport and visa
All participants must be in possession of a valid passport and obtain a Pakistani visa. We also help trekking/expeditions members with visa invitation letter (if required by the group).
Personal equipment
Trekking shoes, down field sleeping bag, walking sticks, down jacket, trousers, pullover, raincoat, water bottle, sun cap, sun glasses, joggers, light cloths and shorts etc.
Please also bring own first aid kit or you may buy first aid kit in Islamabad from D-Watson and Shaheen medical stores.
Equipment provided
Camping equipment
Our local partner provides D3V sleeping tents (luxury tents for 2 persons). D3V means dome 3 Pax tent with vestibule. We provide mess tent, kitchen tent, toilet tent, shower tent, store tent, tables and chairs etc. Material is designed, imported and manufactured in Pakistan, equal quality of North Face but more luxury then North Face.
Kitchen utensils
(i) Our local partner provides complete kitchen utensils i.e. tea mugs, plates, spoons, forks, table knifes, sweet bowels, soup Bowls, washing bowels, pressure cooker, cooking pots and other required items
(ii) We provide tourists class restaurant crockery in camps.
Camp food Menu
Porridge, Quaker Oats, Corn Flex, Musuli, Alpen, Marmalade, Apple Jam, Mango Jam, Mix Fruit Jam, Honey, Coffee, Black, Green, Milk Tea, Paratha, Local thick Bread, Chappti, Eggs, apricot porridge.
Lunch Tuna, Cheese, Sardine, Corn Beef, Hunter Beef, Fruit Cocktail, Peaches, Pears, Mango Slice, pine Apple, Candies Drinking Chocolate, Magi Noodles, Mix Fruits, Tang, Oval Tine, Peanut Butter, Biscuit Cream, Biscuit Sweet, Crackles Biscuit, Tikki Biscuit, Pakoda, Samosa, Chips, Green, Black Tea, Dry Fruits, seasonal fresh fruits. Each day Kitchen staff provides some hot dishes e.g. soup, pasta, macaroni or spaghetti during trekking.
Dinner
Mutton curry, Beef curry, Chicken curry, Chicken Kabab, Mutton Kabab, different Fresh vegetables, Three kinds of Dal, Plain Rice, Mutton Rice, Beryani, Spaghetti, Macaroni, Pasta Macaroni, Chinese Noodles, Green Peas, Baked Beans, Sausages, Tomato Ketchup, Mayonnaise, Vegetable soups, Chicken Soups, Green, Black Tea, Custard, Jelly, Kheer Mix, Pudding Mix, Green Salad, Russian Slade, Chappti, Fresh Fruit.
Note- Professional cooks are making daily menu from above mentioned food list. We assure you to provide quality, variety and clean food.
i) Local dishes can be providing according to choice or taste of our valued clients. ii) Each morning kitchen staff give wake up call with cup of tea and hot water for washing.
iii) Each evening and morning kitchen crew provide boiled water for drinking and water bottles will be filled each evening.
Reservation
A deposit of S$ 3000 per person is required upon confirmation and the balance must be paid in full 30 days prior to the departure date. Non-payment by required date may result in the cancellation of your booking and subjected to cancellation charges.

Kindly note that we and the local guide reserve the rights to make decision, in your best interests or in the best interests of the group participating in the trek. In the event of cancellation of activity beyond our control such as adverse weather conditions and other similar conditions that compromises the safety of your group and the guide, no form of compensation will be given.
