Day 1 Tbilisi Airport – Lagodekhi (BLD). O/N Guesthouse
Morning arrival at Tbilisi Airport. Meet and transfer from Airport to the guesthouse in Lagodekhi. After breakfast and go on a warm-up hike to the Gurgeniani waterfall (40m high; 17 km, 6-7 hours).). If the weather allows having a picnic and swim. In the evening, preparation for the expedition: split team equipment within participants and pack. Nice evening meal and good night’s rest.

Day 2. 3 Days Trekking (BLD) O/N Mountain Shelter
Take a 12km hike through the forests and subalpine meadows, gain a height of around 1000m and stay in the first shelter for a night.
Important: to have an ID or a passport is a must, as the trail is near the Russian border.

Day 3 3 Days Trekking (BLD) O/N Mountain Shelter
Continue a 16 km hiking through the alpine valley with breathtaking views towards the lake. There’s a chance to see animals like deer, chamois, and wild goat; as well as various eagles, grouse, and other birds. The second shelter at 2800m altitude.

Day 4. 3 Days Trekking (BLD) O/N Guesthouse
Trek 15km as we descend into the narrow gorges. The trail is quite rocky and through steep pathway, that follows rug terrain through bushes and long grasses. The end of the trail leads back to the guesthouse. Enjoy a delicious Georgian dinner and well-deserved night rest.

Day 5. Sighnaghi (BD) O/N Guesthouse
Enjoy a 4-5 hours horse riding into the deep forests and along the river heading to the ruins of the medieval castle. In good weather we have a picnic. After, free time to walk around a small mountain town Sighnaghi (also called as City of love), buy souvenirs or have a sip of wine in local restaurants. In the evening, grill party at the guesthouse yard.

Day 6 Lagodekhi – Tbilisi (B). O/N Hotel
After breakfast transfer to Tbilisi city, on the road back visiting a winery spending a few hours tasting wine and traditional snacks. In the evening check in the hotel and have free time in the city.

Day 7 Tbilisi Tour (B). O/N Hotel
After breakfast, cultural Tbilisi tour.

Day 8 Depart Tbilisi (B)

WHAT TO BRING
Travelling and mountain trekking insurance till 3000m altitude.

Money for extra things in grocery stores, souvenirs or any other personal items.

A daily backpack for essentials and a sleeping bag. If you do not have one, you can rent it from our guide.

Flight tickets are not included in the tour price, as travelers arrive from various countries.

This tour is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

WHERE YOU STAY
You will spend 2 nights in two different mountain shelters on Black rocks lake trail.

The rest of the time you will be staying in a family-owned guesthouse near the city center, with a cozy green yard to relax after hikes and also hotel in Tbilisi.
