Xueshan or Hsuehshan or Snow Mountain 雪山 a mountain in Heping District, Taichung, Taiwan. It is the second highest mountain in Taiwan and in East Asia, at 3,886 m (12,749 ft) above sea level. There is abundant of snow during winter and it is a great place to play snow and appreciate the snow scenery. Our local leaders are equipped with snow climbing training. It is considered the most popular and accessible path of the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage. While the Nakahechi Trail doesn’t require peak fitness, it does demand strength and endurance, as trekkers must cover at least 6-8 hours of hiking each day.
