About SGD 820 with flight
Get away into the Bengoh Valley, surrounded by scenic mountainous backdrops across the majestic Bengoh Lake (1 hour from Kuching). Immerse yourselves in the many picturesque waterfalls and streams, taking a cold dip in the nature water with an overnight stay at Bengoh Village high above the lake. Enjoy the sunrise as you take in the beautiful scenery of the lake.
Though not obliged, it is advised that you leave your high tech shoes behind as the mixed terrain (mud, roots, bamboo bridges and slippery rocks) will be endured in the days to come.
Reasonable fitness is required for this tour due to uphill terrain. Guests are required to carry their own backpacks, therefore it is recommended to travel as light as possible for this tour.
Homestay
1. Sleeping
- Sleeping mats are provided, but no bedding. Bring your own liner.
2. Shower/ Toilet
Homestay has shared showers (cold water only) and toilets.

Day 1
Recommended flight from Singapore

Arrive Kuching airport and drive to the small township of Padawan where you will be brought by your guide to hunt for a new pair of hiking shoes (the locally acclaimed legendary rubber shoes). Note : Though not obliged, it is advised that you leave your high tech shoes behind as the mixed terrain (mud, roots, bamboo bridges and slippery rocks) will be endured in the days to come.
The first day includes a 15-mins boat ride on the Bengoh Lake to Kampung Sting (a resettled Bidayuh Village).Â
Carrying your own backpack, you will trek uphill for 30 minutes (depending on fitness level) to your homestay, where you will be generously rewarded by the breathtaking view of the Bengoh Dam. Check in, rest, relax and enjoy the setting sun as it slowly disappears behind the mountains. Dinner will be served.
Day 2
A day fun filled with adventure as you prepare yourself for a hike to the majestic falls of Kling and Susung.
Day 3
After a second night at Homestay you retrace your steps back to Kampung Sting where you meet a boat followed by drive to Kuching.
Day 4
Breakfast at Hotel. Check out at 11am.
Free at leisure till transfer to airport for departure.
 Optional of half day tour in the morning if flight departure is in the afternoon / evening.
