This trip will focus on providing education and interaction with the local children.
This type of trips combine adventure traveling with a community service project. They are planned with an aim to minimize damage and ensure protection of the places we are traveling to, to encourage responsible tourism to balance between the benefits to the individual traveler and the community and places visited.
Instead of climbing to the summit of Mt Kinabalu, this trek winds its way through the hills and valleys around Mt Kinabalu. The Dusuns who live in the hill-side villages are among the most friendly and hospitable people on earth. We will follow the the old jungle trail and stay in local villages along the way.
This trip aims to help Lombok shark fishermen see the long-term and sustainable tourist value of sharks – alive than dead. Through snorkeling, diving and beach-hopping tours using the once-shark boats, they can earn more equitable income through a steady stream of tourists wanting to go on their boat tours.
