Make a date with the Fann Mountains in year 2020! This trekking trip include all highlights of Fann mountains designed for trekkers of all levels of ability, some of whom want a serious challenge. The most challenging and fascinating targets are Chimtarga mountains pass (4750m), giving an incredible high-altitude experience without the need for specialist climbing skills and Big Alo lakes visit which to most is considered as one of the most beautiful lake in Fann mountains.

Level of difficulty: This tour is recommended for people with hiking and climbing experience (hiking time approximately 5-6 hours per day).
Conditions: It is necessary to bring a sleeping bag (possible to rent), warm clothes and trekking boots.
Day 1: Arrive Dushanbe O/N Choice of Hotel
Day 2: Drive Dushanbe – Iskanderkul (135km, 3hrs) – Saratog village (12km, 40mins) O/N Guesthouse
Day 3: Drive Saratog village – Artuch village (Alt 1800m; 4 hrs) O/N Guesthouse
Day 4: Trek Kulikalon Lake (2800m; 5-6 hrs, 15 km, +1050m) O/N Tent
Day 5: Kulikalon Lake Acclimatization (2800m). O/N Tent
Day 6: Trek Alauddin Lake (2770m; 6-8 hrs, > 10 km, +960 m, -1150m) O/N Tent

Itinerary (Subject to changes)
Day 1: Arrival Dushanbe O/N Choice of Hotel
Early morning arrival Dushanbe Airport 03.40am by Turkish Airlines from Istanbul. Meet guide in the airport and transfer to the hotel. Breakfast and rest at the hotel before city tour which includes the National Museum and the impressive Hissor Fortress, as well as more modern sites such as Rudaki Park (with its colourful monuments) and the Navruz Hall.
Day 2: Drive Dushanbe – Iskanderkul (135km, 3hrs) – Saratog village (12km, 40mins). O/N Guesthouse
After breakfast, transfer to Iskanderkul with lunch stop in Sarvoda. Enjoy the views of Iskanderkul Lake and visit the local Niagara waterfall before arrive at Saratog village for overnight.
Day 3: Drive Saratog village – Artuch village (Alt 1800m, about 4 hours) O/N Guesthouse
After breakfast continue journey to Artuch through Anzob pass. Lunch on the way and stop at the Rudaki Mausoleum, On arrival to Artuch you will have some time to explore the village and get familiar with country side lifestyle.
Day 4: Trekking Kulikalon Lake [2850m] (5-6 hours, 15 km, +1050m) O/N Tent
After breakfast, meet the donkeys who will be assigned to carry the luggage. After short instruction by your guide, we start the trek to the shore of Kulikalon Lake for overnight.
Day 5: Kulikalon Acclimatization [2800m] O/N Tent
Today we are acclimatizing to the high altitude and walk around the area. Explore the lakes such as Lesnoe, Bibijanat, Dushoha lakes and maybe swim in some of them. Overnight in Kulikalon area.
Day 6: Trekking Alauddin Lake [2770m] (about 6-8 hrs, > 10 km, +960 m, -1150m) O/N Tent
In the morning, we start ascend to Alaudin Pass (3860 m) for about 6 hours. The beautiful panorama of the surrounding peaks and lakes will be seen from the top of pass. Then descend to a campsite by the Alaudin Lake.
Day 7: Trekking Mutnoe Lake [3520m] (4hrs, 5km, +750-780m) O/N Tent
After breakfast, we slowly start ascend to the Mutnoe Lake. On the way, we enjoy the view to the peaks and small but very beautiful lake – Piala where we stop for lunch. Porter with donkeys will unload our luggage in Mutnoe Lake.
Day 8: Trekking Chimtarga [4560m] (6 hours, 3km, +980m) O/N Tent
The first challenging day starts early in the morning. As donkeys cannot go with us further this route, we will be hiring porters. We start moving towards Chitarga Pass (4750m) along glacier and set our camp before the top of the pass at an altitude 4560 m,
Day 9: Trekking Big Alo [3100m] (6-7 hours, 10 km, +300m, – 1620m) O/N Tent
Early in the morning we start trekking to the Chimtarga Pass (4750 m) and then continue to the right Zindon Gorge. We set our campsite at 3100m at the shore of the Big Alo lake perhaps the most beautiful lake in Fann mountains.
Day 10: Trekking Archmaydan [1780m] (10km; -1350m) O/N Tent
Early in the morning we continue descend in the Zindon Gorge along the Amshut river passing by small Alo lake (2340m). Overnight in Archmaydan river valley.
Day 11: Margheb (Drive – 75km) O/N Guesthouse
Early in the morning drive to the Marghib village which is surrounded by jagged peaks, with the giant Zamin-Karor rock wall looming over it from behind.
Day 12: Pskan (Yagnob Valley) (Drive + Trek 3km) O/N Homestay
After breakfast, drive to the first Yagnob village – Bedev from where you will trek towards Pskan (3km). On the way to Pskan you explore other Yagnobi villages.
Day 13: Dushanbe (Drive) O/N Choice of Hotel
After breakfast drive to Dushanbe with stop for lunch in Varzob or Sarvoda. Check in hotel and rest. In the evening you will either have a dinner at hotel or go out for the farewell dinner at Tajk restaurant with live music and dance show.
DDay 14 • Dushanbe (Free Day) O/N Choice of Hotel
You can relax at hotel or explore the city yourself.
Day 15 • Depart Dushanbe Airport
Airport transfer by hotel for flight to Istanbul at 5.10am.

Visa Regulation
Citizens of Singapore will NEED a tourist visa to enter Tajikistan up to 45 days.
Application can be on arrival at Dushanbe Airport (USD 40) or via E-Visa (USD 50).
Getting There
Booking and Payment Policy
You can book a tour by registering online at https://www.x-trekkers.com/activity-registration/ complete with passport copy. On the registration, please kindly acknowledge to have being advised by X-Trekkers Adventure Consultant Pte Ltd (“X-Trekkers”) of purchasing a comprehensive “travel insurance policy” to protect yourselves against unforeseen circumstances such as baggage loss, flight delays, travel agent solvency and medical emergencies.
We will then send you an invoice as confirmation of your booking. The booking is valid to us when we send you the invoice and, when we have received your deposit (S$ 1500 per person). This is also valid to you. Once you have completed the booking process and paid the invoice a written confirmation will follow by email. Please note that you are responsible for carefully checking all details on your confirmation and related travel documents to ensure that they are correct.
Price
X-Trekkers endeavours not to increase the cost of the trip once the contract has been entered into. However, the cost to run a trip is calculated up to several months in advance and increases in running the trip like, but not exclusively, transportation costs, accommodation costs and fluctuations in the exchange rates, may make an increase unavoidable.
Should a surcharge be payable, we will immediately notify you of such.
We will not add a surcharge to a trip less than 30 days prior to a trip’s departure.
We will not impose a surcharge of more than 10% of the original Trip Price.
Should a surcharge be payable, you must pay said surcharge prior to joining the trip.
Cancellations and Refund
Notification of cancellation must be made in writing. Upon cancellation, the guest shall be liable to pay a fee to cover the estimate of cost and expenses incurred by X-Trekkers and/or its partners.

The above fees include X-Trekkers administration fees, insurance and hotel reservation payment. All administration fees, taxes, charges or levies imposed shall be borne by the guest.
If non-refundable airfare & taxes form part of the whole package, the above cancellation charges will apply to the land arrangement cost. The entire cost of the non-refundable airfare & taxes will be payable by the guest.
* Should you fail to join a trip, or join it after departure or leave it prior to its completion, no refund will be made whatsoever including the local payment portion that is not used.
* X-Trekkers and partner reserves the right to cancel any trip for reasons of Force Majeure less than 30 days prior to the departure date. In this case you will be refunded any money you have paid to us, less reasonable expenses that we have incurred, and that will be the extent of the Company’s liability.
* Some of our trips require a minimum number of participants in order for it to run. If this number is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the trip. X-Trekkers and partner will endeavour to cancel this trip more than 30 days prior to the departure date unless it is necessitated by the late cancellation of other passengers on the trip, in which case it will be cancelled less than 30 days prior to the departure date. In each case, you will be refunded any money that have paid to us less reasonable expenses that we have incurred, and that will be the extent of the Company’s liability.
* Should you fail to pay the balance of the Trip Price in the due time, we will cancel your booking and no money already paid to us will be refunded.
