Starting from Bohinj, visitors are treated to the breathtaking scenery of the largest Slovenian lake, with the majestic Triglav massif providing a stunning backdrop for hikes departing from picturesque villages.
The journey continues with the exploration of the Soca River, renowned as one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe, and the enchanting Mostnica gorges, offering visitors a chance to immerse themselves in Slovenia’s diverse landscapes.
No visit to Slovenia would be complete without experiencing its vibrant capital, Ljubljana. With its charming old town and lively atmosphere, Ljubljana offers a perfect blend of history, culture, and modernity.
To top it off, the circuit also offers the opportunity to indulge in Slovenia’s burgeoning wine scene, with a visit to a vineyard and tastings of local wines, adding a deliciously memorable dimension to the journey.

1. LEVEL
Easy to medium level.
From 3 to 6 hours of walking and/or 300 to 700 m of positive altitude difference and 300 to 1000 m of negative altitude difference during the day, no technical difficulty, easy to medium paths, tracks and trails. The stay takes place on a roaming basis, with a change of accommodation at each stage. To fully enjoy this trip, don’t forget to stay in shape by walking once a week.
2. LUGGAGE TRANSFER
You only carry a backpack for the day with the necessary for your hike and the picnic lunch. Your luggage will be transferred by vehicle and be collected at the end of each stage in the hotel. Max 10 kg per luggage per person.
3. ACCOMMODATION
- Three nights in Bohinj at a very good family-run hotel near Lake Bohinj, at the gates of the Triglav National Park.
- Two nights in Kobarid or Tolmin at a very good quality family-run hotel.
- One night in Rodik at an agritourism farm-inn renowned for its setting and local specialties, with a Finnish sauna.
- One night in Ljubljana at a 3-star hotel located near the city center.
These choices ensure comfort and convenience during your stay in Slovenia.
Itinerary
We may have to modify the indicated itinerary: either at the level of the organization (problem of overload of the accommodations, duplication of the groups, modification of the state of the ground, landslides, degraded trails, etc.), or directly because of the guide (weather, group level, etc.). These modifications are always made in your interest, for your safety and for a better comfort!

Morning meals are taken in the accommodation.

In the event of a last minute delay, please notify your guide by telephone and/or the agency. We will meet you at a specific time at the hotel.

You will receive about two weeks before your departure, a confirmation notice specifying the time and place of the appointment, the name and contact information of the guide and the address of the first accommodation.

You can extend your trip before or after the trip on request.
