Hike through the tropical rainforests of Mt. Gede-Pangrango National Park adjacent to historical Cibodas Botanical Garden. Lying between Cianjur and Sukabumi regencies of West Java Province, the Park is rich with flora and fauna and is covered by sub-montane, montane and sub-alpine forest. Accessible from Jakarta via Bogor, the main gate at Cibodas is only a 2-hour drive. The active Mt. Gede volcano (2,958 m) and triangular shaped Mt. Pangrango (3,011 m) are favored weekend trekking destinations for many Jakartans. Waterfalls, hot springs, dense jungle, fresh air, cool weather, and friendly local communities will be glad to welcome your visit.
Note
– Not recommended for people who has certain health issues, such as heart attack, ephilepsi, high-blood pressure, vertigo, and other complications.
– Park will be closed for trekking on January, February, March and August.
Day 1: Jakarta/Bandung – Gunung Putri – Suryakencana meadow campsite (LD)
Pick up service at 6 am in your hotel in Jakarta or Bandung and transfer to Gunung Putri gate which takes 3 hours. Start trekking to Suryakencana meadow, the infamous edelweiss field for 3 hours. Lunch box will be provided. Afternoon tea will be served at campsite. Dinner and overnight at Suryakencana campsite.
Day 2: Suryakencana – Summit – Cibodas – Jakarta/Bandung (BL)
Wake up at 5 am and continue to summit for sunrise. Hot drink and snack will be provided. Breakfast at the summit and trekking down to Cibodas gate for 6 hours. On the way down stop at hot spring for bathing and waterfall. Lunch at local restaurant in Cibodas gate before heading back to Jakarta/Bandung. (Those who will take flight back should book flight after 9 pm due to heavy traffic on weekend)

Day 1: Jakarta/Bandung – Cibodas – Mandalawangi campsite (LD)
Pick up service at 6 am in your hotel in Jakarta or Bandung and transfer to Cibodas gate which takes 3 hours. Start climbing Mt. Gede via Telaga Biru lake, waterfall, hotspring. Lunch box will be provided at hot spring. Continue to Kandang Badak camp in the saddle between Mt. Gede and Mt. Pangrango. From Kandang Badak camp a junction will lead you turn to the right to Mt. Pangrango summit. A small hut is the highest point of Mt. Pangrango. Down to Mandalawangi, valley of edelweiss everlasting flower where we will set up our camp site. Dinner will be served at campsite and overnight in tent. (Total 8 hours trek)
Day 2: Mandalawangi – Summit – Cibodas – Jakarta/Bandung (BL)
Wake up call at 05.00 am and trekking up back to Mt. Pangrango summit for sunrise. In a clear day, Mt. Gede summit and its crater rim is seen from here. Breakfast will be served at Mt. Pangrango summit. Then, continue climbing down to Cibodas gate and lunch at local restaurant before heading back to Jakarta/Bandung. (Those who will take flight back should book flight after 9 pm due to heavy traffic on weekend)

Day 1: Singapore – Bandung
On arrival Bandung Airport, transfer to hotel in Bandung. Rest of day is free at leisure.
Overnight 3-star hotel twin share with breakfast
Day 2: Bandung – Gunung Putri – Suryakencana meadow campsite (BLD) (3 hrs drive, 3hrs trek)

Day 3: Suryakencana – Summit Mt. Gede – Summit Mt. Pangrango – Mandalawangi campsite (BLD) (6-8 hrs trek)
4 am wake up call and preparation for climbing up to Gede summit. Hot tea or coffee and snack will be provided before the climb. Reach the peak in time for sunrise and enjoy scenic Mt. Gede’s active crater. Breakfast at Gede summit and down to Kandang Badak. Proceed to Panrango summit. Late lunch at Mandalawangi meadow. Dinner and overnight Mandalawangi meadow campsite.
Day 4: Mandalawangi – Cibodas gate – Jakarta (BL) (2-3 hrs trek)
Breakfast at Mandalawangi and down to Cibodas gate. Enroute stop at hot spring for bathing in warm water. Then proceed to Cibeureum waterfall and lunch box will be served here. Afterward down to Cibodas and stop at Telaga Biru natural lake. Arrival Cibodas at late afternoon and drive back to Jakarta Airport for your flight back Singapore after 9pm.
