- Train Ride to Tibet: The Qinghai-Tibet Railway is one of the highest and most scenic train routes in the world. The train journey from Xining offers breathtaking views of the Tibetan plateau.

- Road to Everest Base Camp: From Lhasa, the road trip to Everest Base Camp passes through Shigatse and Tingri before reaching Everest Base Camp. The Everest Base Camp offers stunning views of Mount Everest where visitors can explore the area.
- Namtso Lake: Namtso Lake is one of the largest and highest saltwater lakes in the world, known for its crystal-clear waters and beautiful scenery. It is located northeast of Lhasa, and the road journey to Namtso is itself scenic, passing through high mountain passes.
